Born in Mumbai, India, in 2004, Medha Vijaykumar Nogaja is an emerging mixed-media artist based in Singapore. Her work focuses on self-identity and experimentation with diverse creative mediums, ranging from 2D to 4D. Medha graduated with an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Overseas Family School, Singapore, in 2022 and is pursuing a BA (Hons) Fine Arts degree at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and the University of the Arts London, set to graduate in 2026.
Medha’s artistic journey initiated with teaching art to children at Go Bananas Art Studio and finally creating murals for Splash Academy, where she enhanced community spaces with vibrant artwork. Her role as a sales assistant at XVXII Jewellery further sharpened her understanding of business operations in creative industries.
Her recent exhibitions include Stories Of Care (Cycle #4): Everything In Between and Echoes Echoes Echoes at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2024. She also participated in the BAFA Open Studio in 2023 and showcased her work at the TEDx Event at United World College South East Asia in 2022. Notably, she participated in the Combined Singapore International Schools’ Visual Arts Exhibition hosted by the Australian High Commission in 2021.
Beyond exhibitions, Medha contributes to community projects, volunteering with the Children’s Cancer Foundation, Singapore Night Festival 2024, and Singapore Design Week 2024. Each experience reflects her commitment to combining art with social impact in distinctive manners. With aspirations to establish a multidisciplinary art studio in India, Medha seeks to create inclusive spaces where art and community intersect.
