Born 2004 in Mumbai, India, Medha Vijaykumar Nogaja is an emerging creative currently based in Singapore, whose work focuses on expressing self-identity and exploring various mediums. Medha graduated high school with an International Baccalaureate Diploma in Overseas Family School, Singapore in 2022. She is studying at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore, and the University of the Arts London, for the BA (Hons) Fine Art program, and will graduate in 2026. Medha’s skillset primarily comprises two-dimensional, mixed-media work. Medha began her career in Singapore’s creative industry as a children’s art teacher at Go Bananas Art Studio, followed by a sales assistant position at XVXII Jewellery. She obtained artistic and business experience, as well as vital abilities, from her part-time occupations.
Medha’s latest public exhibition, held in April 2024 at Selegie Art Centre, Singapore, will present her recent Year 1 Project created at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Previously, Medha’s work was exhibited in the BA (Hons) Fine Arts Open Studio at Nanyang Academy of Fine Art, Singapore in November 2023. One of her portrait paintings was displayed at a TED-X Event at United World College South East Asia School, Singapore in April 2022, as well as, a collection of her artworks were exhibited at the IBDP Visual Arts Exhibition at Overseas Family School, Singapore, in April 2022. Medha was honored to be a part of a prestigious Art Exhibition, A Combined Singapore International Schools’ Visual Arts Exhibition, hosted online by the Australian High Commission in 2021.
